At eight and a half months, Truff just went into her first heat cycle. So I guess she is a young adolescent. She is changing so much every week -- not so much in looks, but in behavior and understanding and learning. She is actually developing some self-control at times! We took a little hike with some class members and their dogs last week, and she was pretty calm most of the time. That's very good for her, because usually on leash it is hard for her not to bark at other dogs. And she sat nicely for petting for several people over this week, when she would really rather wiggle and jump up, so we have our eyes on that CGC.

Today when we were playing with the tennis balls, Mert took some pictures. She would chase a ball or two, and then take the ball and lie down in the shade for a few seconds and then dash out for another go.
